Introduction

Hello everyone

My name is Suellen, and I have spent the last 20 years in sales within some of the largest cosmetic surgery providers within the UK. I have seen an influx of non surgical procedures flood the market, and wish to offer any people out there, considering such treatments, some insider knowledge, information and general consumer advice.

The aesthetic market is one of the fastest growing markets worldwide. Consumers each year spend in excess of £22 billion pounds undergoing treatments to either tone, reduce, enlarge, remove or re-define themselves. Although cosmetic surgery has been around for over 50 years, the amount of treatments now available , which come in the form of a "quick fix", are now the first choice, when contemplating enhancement of some kind. Non-surgical or aesthetic treatments attribute to well over £50 million pounds and can offer customers the chance to either reduce, uplift, tone, re-define, remove, reduce or enhance themselves without the costly need for expensive surgery. The low downtime and the flexibility along with the sheer availability, makes the non surgical market grow by over 200% each year.

I will be looking at the IPL hair removal market in my first chapter. (to be continued)
